My wife had to get a little flower girl dress for Kylie after she insisted she wanted to be a bride for Halloween so here she is modeling it for the first time. Of course, her favorite friend, Bunny, had to be there to share in the experience. Now, if you ask her what she’d like to be for Halloween it’ll either be a beautiful princess, a witch, or a ghost.
Here are a few photos of my daughter enjoying the brightly colored leaves that fell from the tiny little tree in our backyard. She really didn’t want to sit down in the leaves because her pants would get a little wet, but once she got down there she loved it.
We had a great time at our last wedding of the season. We started by getting some great natural light shots of the reception site, the Heritage Center in St. Joseph, MI. Then we stopped at the Boulevard Inn for the getting ready shots of the girls. The ceremony was held at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stevensville, MI. We got to work with Emerson Music DJs again, Larry and Ryan are great!
I’ve setup this photo blog on my site so people could see what I’ve been up to and to see my latest favorite photos. I will try to keep this updated at least once per week as time permits and I’d like to get a few photos posted within 24 hours after each event so check back often.
The wedding season is winding down for me so I will be doing some portraits and personal stuff to try to fill the gaps. We are also going to work on re-designing parts of the website in our down time.

We were really excited to shoot this wedding.. Heather and Paul chose Greencrest Manor in Battle Creek, MI for their special day. My wife and I were married there in 1999! It is a beautiful European style bed & breakfast that is in excellent condition. Being there for a fall wedding was awesome. Heather and Paul were great to work with and were very fun.
Very fun group. The weather was great and the trees were beautiful. The ceremony was at the Vergennes United Methodist Church in Lowell, MI. It looked like your typical church outside, but was very nice and new looking inside. After the ceremony we stopped at Fallasburg Park for some wedding party shots. There was a very nice looking old covered bridge there and the fall colors made it the perfect spot for photos. Reception was at the Deer Run Golf Club.
The day started rainy but it stopped after the ceremony and got pretty decent. Amanda’s Mom made all of the flowers, center pieces, and a wonderful gigantic cake! Ceremony held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kalamazoo, MI. Reception was at The Fountains in Parchment.
